Craft Fair – Terms and Conditions
1. The pitches available are 3 metres wide. There is no heating, so crafters should wear warm clothing and footwear, and bring a blanket, if necessary! There is no electrical power available.
2. Crafters must supply their own tables and chairs. The table(s) should ensure their table is fit for purpose and fit within the 3 metre pitch width.
3. It is a condition of our own insurance policy that crafters will also have to have their own Public Liability cover. Any stall selling food items must confirm with the organiser in advance how they comply with current UK food hygiene legislation.
4. No alcohol is to be sold.
5. No dogs are allowed at the Cavalier Centre.
6. No knives, swords, or other decorative items that could be considered weaponry to be sold.
7. No naked flames to be used.
8. Set up will be from 8.30am. You can arrive before this time (the car park may not be open until 8am) but there is no guarantee that the arena will be ready until 8.30am. Set-up needs to be completed by 10am. Tear-down can only start after the fair closes at 2:30 pm.
9. No raffles, tombolas, lotteries or prize draws will be allowed unless previously agreed with the organiser.
10. The fair is open to the general public from 10.00am – 2:30pm. Stall holders must be present throughout this period. If any stallholder packs up and leaves before 2:30pm without the prior permission of the organiser, then the organiser reserves the right to cancel, without refund, any future bookings for that stallholder.
11. Car parking is free – please park sensibly as there are no marked bays.
12. Could all stall holders keep their area clean and tidy by removing all their rubbish etc at the end of the show. Failure to leave the arena tidy may result in not being welcome to exhibit with us again. Please hide your packing cases, boxes etc by having a cloth on your table that reaches to the ground.
13. Please ensure that neither you nor your table and goods block any walkways or any fire exit from the arena.
14. There are a limited number of spaces available – these will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis and taking into account the variety of crafters at each fair. All bookings are provisional until confirmed by the organiser.
15. A pitch costs £15, and payment must be made to secure booking. The organiser reserves the right not to accept bookings for any reason, and to reallocate space not paid in full.
16. Stall holders should not arrange their own replacements if they are unable to attend. This is in fairness to stall holders on any waiting lists that are maintained by the organiser.
17. If the event is cancelled by the organiser then any payments received will be refunded in full. If the stall holder cancels more than one month before the event then the booking fee will be refunded. If cancelled less than one month before the show no money can be refunded.
18. The organiser accepts no liability for loss of earnings as a result of any circumstances, nor any other action by any third party beyond their control.
